Stuart Isaacs QC practises from his London Chambers in the fields of commercial law (particularly banking and insurance), international arbitration and EU law. His practice covers the range of Commercial Court and contentious Chancery work. He has been involved in many reported commercial and EU law cases.
Since becoming a Queen’s Counsel in 1991, he has been appointed to numerous arbitration tribunals and, more recently sits as an accredited mediator. He has a large commercial practice in Asia with an office in Singapore and visits the region frequently to advise and appear in arbitrations and to act as an arbitrator.
Recognised as a leader at the Bar in all of his areas of practice, Stuart is regularly singled out in legal directories for his outstanding legal and technical abilities. Noted as having a practice of international standing, he is also commended for his ‘tactical head’ and as being a ‘strong litigator’ and ‘superb tactician’ who ‘gets results that others only dream of’.
